Amazing!

What a fantastic stay we’ve had! We visit Bexhill twice a year and have stayed in many properties here but this was by far the best and surpassed all expectations. It was perfect for our large group. We didn’t want to leave the property as there were excellent facilities for the toddlers, children, grown ups and pensioners! All mod cons with modern facilities like a steam room too. We enjoyed the lovely garden and ate breakfast there every day. Being opposite the park and down the road from the beach, the location was ideal. My dad never likes anywhere we stay, however he loved this property and even wants to come back again. The cleanliness for someone as OCD as me was such a peace of mine. Thank you to Jackie the owner for everything.

Short summer break

Wonderful house in a great location.
This house has everything you might need whether staying with adults, teens or younger children. Games, indoor and out, plenty of space for everyone to eat drink and sleep and one of the best play parks we have visited. The three bathrooms ensure no queues and everything very clean and in good order.
Loved the stay in Bexhill, were blessed with great weather and were sad to leave. Jackie is a great owner, considerate and helpful at all times. Thank you.

Well equipped, very clean family house in a great location.

Second time in this house, we had a lovely week, it’s opposite the Park which is great for young children and tennis players. Walking distance to the beach with a lovely wide Promenade area and the town centre. The house is very well equipped with some extra touches such as bikes and play equipment and a great barbecue. There are 3 full bedrooms as the bunk beds are off the main bedroom so suitable for children only.

Great break

8 of us stayed in this property with a dog. Everything was thought out so well. We only needed to take food and ourselves. The house was like home from home. Beautifully laid out with every possible thing we needed. Including tennis rackets, balls, books, bbq every utensil possible. Nothing was not there. The house is in a perfect location just far enough out of town you can walk to and so close to the park and beach for the children.lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. We even walked to the railway station on several occasions and went into Hastings. We had the perfect weekend. I would recommend this to any family. Was so nice to be able to take the dog too.

The house has all the kitchen equipment, dining chairs, garden furniture you need and a super barbecue. It’s a great location opposite a large park with tennis courts and playground and walking distance to the beach. We didn’t need the car all week. Good bathroom facilities. Three bedrooms are double and there is a small bunk bedded room suitable for children.

Friendly welcome from owners – arrival gift of a bowl of fruit and a jar of marmalade greatly appreciated. easy access to beach, park, shops and restaurants an added bonus. All modern facilities in this wonderful period house worked well. We all had a wonderful week.

I booked this property for a family get together including three toddlers. It has everything we could possibly need for a week”s seaside holiday. The location, between the sea front and Egerton Park is ideal, with parking in the street outside. The De la Warr Pavilion and shopping streets are within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay during Christmas holidays with my whole family (3 generations). We were warmly welcomed by Rob and Jackie was very nice through our mails. We appreciated the Christmas tree, decorations and crakers, the basket of fruits and chocolates. The house is very comfortable and offers much space for 10 people. More over, it is well equiped. It’s very handy to cook. We appreciated the hammam upstairs.

The house is very well situated close to the sea-side and down- town.We visited the surroundings: Hastings, Eastbourn and the Seven Sisters, Rye and Battle.
We recommend quickly this very nice house!

The house is in a great location in a road which runs parallel to the sea front and there is a park opposite with both play equipment for the children and exercise equipment for the adults. The house had all the equipment we needed for the stay and the steam room was an added bonus.

55 Egerton Road was the perfect house for us. We had 3 generations staying together and everyone was very happy. The house was superbly equipped and very comfortable. To be so close to the beach and the park was fantastic. We made full use of both as the sun shone everyday of our stay. Jackie and Rob could not have been more helpful and made us feel very much at home. Thank you for all the hard work you put in to making our holiday such a success.

We took grandparents and aunts and uncles and children – the house was comfortably large enough for all of us. The location was perfect. The children enjoyed the freedom of the park opposite and we all loved being so close to the sea. The tennis courts in the park were fantastic and we never had any difficulty booking a court.

We were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by three days and the owners couldn’t have been more helpful in sorting this out for us.

We are looking forward to returning next year!

The location is superb for a family holiday with children. One road back from the sea front so you can be on the beach in 2 minutes, right opposite Egerton Park which is a very nice park for everyone and has excellent childrens play areas, 2 minute walk to the local pub and a couple more minutes to the town centre and shops. The house has everything you need for a family holiday including games for the kids, satellite TV, and WiFi. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. A decent separate dining room and conservatory, and compact garden. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and we particularly liked the steam room. Quite a lot of stairs which may not suit the elderly or less mobile. We had no problem finding parking on the street close to the house during our stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We needed accommodation due to a family bereavement at short notice and the owners were SO helpful and friendly. The house is just wonderful. It was just like being at home from a convenience and comfort perspective. Really well equipped, everything at hand and in just the right part of town (lovely park across the street and one block from the seafront).
I honestly cannot fault it. It was perfect for our needs – and I’d love to return there to visit family again, in happier circumstances.

The title says it all. We absolutley loved this house. With plenty of space and bathrooms, lovely bedrooms and best of all a perfect location, 1 minute to the beach, 1 minute to the park and 5 mins to the shops. Big house, but really cosy and well appointed. The pictures just dont do it justice, wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a well-appointed Edwardian house on 3 storeys, spacious and quiet; it is well-placed for Egerton Park, with its very comprehensive play area for young children, and facilities for young teenagers too, plus tennis courts for the grown-ups. The sea is about one minute away. and is about 5 minutes walk into the town and the famous De La Warr Pavilion, with its theatre, exhibition room, and refreshments’ facilities. Other great places are within easy reach by car, bus and train. There were a couple of minor niggles, which I have drawn to the attention of the owner, and which are being addressed, but these did not detract from the very happy time that our 3 generations of family spent there. If we went to Bexhill again, this would be our first choice.

Excellent accommodation in a spacious and comfortable house. The steam room, huge cooker, barbecue,, children’s toys, garden, plenty of shower/ bath rooms, and location near the beach and park were welcome extras. This is a place not to be missed. Only one criticism- there were no measuring jugs!!

I stayed in this glamorously decorated house with three elderly lady relatives and we felt at home immediately. There is so much space offering the chance for privacy if needed whilst still being cosy and homely. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. The house is warm, light and extremely comfortable with easy parking and access to the seafront and town. I hope to return

For a snowy half term holiday what could be better than home from home, right by the seaside, the park and the shops.

Stayed with a group of friends for a get-together over New Years. The house is very well-equipped for a group of 10 people with 4 bedrooms and a lounge with a fold-out couch and several bathrooms. The kitchen is a very good size and had plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc so we had no difficulty cooking for all of us. Location is great too, it’s less than 10 minutes walk from the station and very close to pubs, cafes, supermarket and the beach. Would definitely come back!
